DESIGNER'S PICK

Blankens' Creative Director Cecilia Blankens on her feelings for our best-selling cardigan, The Kristin: 

"I love a good knit. Few things are more comforting to me than soft materials wrapped around my body. With The Kristin I wanted to create that feeling in a piece of clothing not only meant for couch life at home (even though The Kristin sure does a fine job doubling as a blanket during Friday night movie marathons with the family) – but also for work, as well as for late night dinners with friends. In short: My wardrobe needed a cardigan that is equally comfy and stylish. Versatility is a key factor in all Blankens' designs. Since sustainability is one of our core values we keep that in mind also during the design process. All Blankens shoes, bags and knits are created to be worn and loved – a lot – and with everything else in your wardrobe. 

I wear The Kristin over denim and a T-shirt when I pick the kids up from school, over a cozy PJ on a slow Sunday morning or over black pants, a shirt and heels when I go out to dinner."
