Why we love The Lara

The Lara is water-resistant, and who wouldn’t want a shoe that keeps your feet dry and warm while making you look super chic? She’s an all-weather-ready friend! The Lara Folded is a versatile boot that you can style in two different ways - either as it is or folded down to show the wool lining. Once you try it on, you won't want to wear another boot this winter.

Materials: Upper in Nubuck leather, treated to be water-resistant; lining and inner sole in mulesing-free wool on a rubber-mix sole. The Lara also features a waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry.

The grain sometimes has small differences in its finish, meaning the grain does not always have the exact same flatness and finish even within the same pair. This is because the leather has been tanned in a non toxic process. This gives a natural patina, and does not effect the overall look of the shoe.

Made in Portugal, under strict European environmental regulations. 

When buying this product you are supporting responsible leather tanning and manufacturing. All leathers are certified by Leather Working Group, who are dedicated to pushing for environmental best practice throughout the leather supply chain.

Wear with: a parkas for a slow walk in the woods, or over denims with a cozy wool knit for a chic city look.

Care: Treat the shaft with a nubuck and suede spray every now and then for extra protection, dirt can be removed with a suede brush. Give the leather in the bottom foot part a round with some neutral shoe grease if the shoe gets dirty or dry, start by wiping the boot off with a damp cloth to get rid of excess dirt. A little shoe spa weekly or monthly extends the life and look of all leather shoes.
