MEET JOSEFINE RUDENSTAM

MEET JOSEFINE RUDENSTAM

This week, we met up with Josefine Rudenstam — the Stockholm-based creative force who has spent the past 15 years working in PR, marketing, and fashion. Alongside her full-time job, she shares glimpses of her everyday life on Instagram, offering a true insider’s perspective on Sweden’s fashion scene.

And while we had her, we seized the moment to talk about the only thing that truly matters… fashion.

When putting together a look, what part do shoes play in your style?

Shoes are absolutely crucial – they can make or break an entire look!

What’s the most “you” outfit you’ve ever worn?

Something simple yet undeniably edgy – a white ribbed tank, leather trousers, and a killer pair of shoes. I’m big on accessories. For me, more is more!

Josefine in The Bianca.

Josefine in The Miranda Black Croc (also available in warm brown).

Any go-to style rituals or golden rules you swear by when putting together a look?

Always include something that catches the eye. A preppy look needs a cool twist, and a cool look needs a preppy element. I rarely wear more than three colours at once. And when it comes to shapes, never double up – if I’m wearing an oversized blazer, the bottoms need to be more fitted. Chunky boots? Then no chunky trousers.

If you could swap closets with anyone for a week, who would it be?

Lori Hirshhleifer – the coolest owner and buyer, with her own incredible store.

Which Blankens style would you wear for: running through an airport / dancing until 3am / an important meeting?

Running through an airport: The Valeria – the chicest, loungiest mocasin/loafer ever.

Dancing until 3am: The Jennie in silver or gold - of course adding a clip-on rose!

An important meeting: The Miranda – office-ready with just the right amount of edge.

Your go-to “I have 5 minutes to get ready” look?

White T-shirt, black jeans, and an effortlessly cool shoe like The Monika Ranch. Then, of course, I pile on my favorite jewelry and throw on a pair of shades.
