This ruggedly chic ankle boot beautifully combines the soft texture of premium black suede with an extra-durable, coated mudguard wrapper—known as Gomato—hugging the outsole to block out the elements. For an added layer of seasonal protection, the leather on top features a clever coating that makes it water-resistant, keeping you confident and ready for unpredictable weather. A short, functional zipper at the back ensures effortless entry while maintaining a clean lace-up aesthetic at the front, beautifully accented with patterned orange and black utility laces.     Like all Blankens shoes, The Ambion is handcrafted in a small, family-run factory in northern Portugal. We prioritize planet-conscious production, using premium, responsibly sourced leathers and linings certified by the Gold Rated Leather Working Group (LWG)—the global standard for environmental excellence in tanneries. The combination of water-resistant treated suede and the protective Gomato shielding near the sole ensures that this boot is built to withstand city pavements and countryside walks alike.     The Ambion is a women’s weather-resistant ankle boot combining heavy-duty utilitarian function with a contemporary fashion profile. It features an upper crafted from premium LWG-certified black suede and a smooth, weather-shielding Gomato coated mudguard framing the base. Built with a sturdy, deep-tread rubber lug sole for excellent traction, it incorporates a functional back zipper with a fabric pull tab alongside a traditional lace-up front featuring patterned multi-colored eyelet laces. Merging high-utility outdoor elements with an urban aesthetic, The Ambion delivers an optimized, highly protective everyday walking experience for colder, wetter seasons.
