Like all Blankens shoes, The Amal is handcrafted in a small, family-run factory in northern Portugal. We prioritize planet-conscious production, using premium, responsibly sourced leather from Gold Rated Leather Working Group (LWG) tanneries, ensuring high-quality materials and a lower environmental impact. The smooth black leather upper is carefully selected for its substantial grain, structured longevity, and beautiful natural shine, while the striking apron stitching is meticulously finished by hand. Crafted from premium black LWG-certified leather, it is distinguished by a rounded toe, hand-stitched apron seams along the front, and a classic fringed kiltie flap topped with double leather tassels across the vamp. Built with a robust, structured leather upper that maintains its form, it is set on a substantial, textured luged rubber outsole that offers excellent grip, stability, and a modern, chunky silhouette.
