MEET EMELIE HJORT
Meet Style Icon Emelie Hjort - the social media manager and content creator that refers to herself as a ”SoMe neard”. She was an early Instagrammer and started her account at 2010! Six years ago she started her journey as a content creator and today, she's guiding businesses in their social media growth but also crafts content for both corporate clients and her own social media channels!
We asked Emelie a few questions...
- What does shoes mean to you?
I love shoes! You can wear a simple outfit and dress it up with shoes! For me, shoes define the entire look, whether it's a comfy Sunday brunch, a first date, or an office look. I love wearing heels, but comfort is crucial to me. I don't want to switch shoes during the day, which is why Blankens is the top choice! They offer not only stunning heels and boots but also the ability to walk in them for hours without any discomfort. They are so comfortable!
- 3 must haves for you in your closet?
3 shoes I need in my closet would be the perfect fall boots that works with every outfit. At least one neat heeled sandal. I love my The Jennie Silver and have worn them all summer long with dresses as with jeans at the office.
I also like flipflops, they're so comfy yet chic for hot summer days.
- Do you have any styling tips when putting together your outfit for the day?
I always choose comfort but with a twist, that works for me all the time. If I buy an amazing piece but it’s uncomfortable, the chance of me using it is very small. So I always choose something I feel comfortable in but I like to twist it up and that could be with a cool bag, nice heels or nice jewellry. I also go with the motto “less is more”.
- What is your favorite shoe (heel, sneaker, sandal etc.)
Oh wow this is a hard one! Hmm… I would have to say my Jennie's! I wore them on my wedding night, on my honeymoon in the Amalfi Coast and now they feel very special to me every time I use them. They are also so comfortable and you can walk in them for days without any pain!
- Do you have any favourite Blankens shoe?
This will answer my question above. I would have to say The Jennie Silver because they're so special to me.
