The Matilda is designed to solve a familiar problem: wanting a sharp, pointy heel that actually works for everyday life. This is the kind of boot you can wear from morning to night without bracing yourself for discomfort. Its clever shape is widest exactly where the foot is widest, creating an unusually comfortable fit for a pointed silhouette. Polished and confident, yet grounded and wearable — The Matilda proves that elegance and ease don’t have to be opposites.

Designed by Blankens in Stockholm and produced in Portugal, The Matilda is crafted using responsibly sourced leather from European tanneries rated by the Leather Working Group. Each pair is made in a small, family-run factory with long experience in traditional shoemaking. The focus is on balance — between structure and softness, durability and refinement — resulting in a boot built to last both in construction and style.

Team Blankens created The Matilda from our own wardrobes and real lives. As women designing for women, we wanted a heel that could keep up: long workdays, walking between meetings, dinners that stretch into evenings. The Matilda is a favorite because it feels reliable without feeling boring — sharp enough to elevate an outfit, comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing heels at all.

The boot is crafted in smooth black leather with a clean, refined finish that enhances its sculptural shape while remaining soft on the foot. Elastic side panels allow easy entry and add flexibility to the fit. Lined in smooth leather for comfort and breathability. Set on a stable, well-balanced heel and finished with a leather sole, designed to support everyday wear while maintaining a sleek, confident profile.
