Crafted in soft, eco-certified leather with a genuine natural rubber sole, The Mette offers comfort from the very first step. Natural rubber provides exceptional flexibility and grip, adapting to the movement of the foot rather than working against it. Like all Blankens shoes, The Mette is made by hand in a small, family-run factory in northern Portugal. The leather is European, eco certified, and PFAS free — chosen for its softness, durability, and responsible sourcing.
At Blankens, we are a small group of women designing shoes for our own lives. We test every style ourselves — walking in them, traveling in them, and wearing them through real days and nights. Each shoe is designed to have a clear purpose, solve a real wardrobe need, and earn its place over time.
The Mette is a women's flat leather slide sandal in black with a cross-strap upper and open toe.
