Like all Blankens shoes, The Billie is designed in Stockholm and made in a small, family-run factory in Portugal. It’s crafted using responsibly sourced European leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group with a Gold rating. The leather is chosen for its durability and ability to age beautifully, ensuring a boot that holds its shape, comfort, and character over time — season after season.

The upper is crafted from black leather with a soft, slightly matte finish that highlights the natural variations in the hide, giving each pair depth and individuality. The toe has a refined, squared shape with rounded edges, adding a modern twist to the traditional Chelsea boot. Elastic side panels ensure easy entry and a comfortable, flexible fit, while a pull tab at the back adds both function and a subtle branded detail. Set on a sturdy, low-profile rubber sole, The Billie offers grip, stability, and everyday durability.

We recommend using a protective spray, such as the Water Proofer, before first wear and reapply regularly to guard against moisture and stains.
Don't forget the inside. Refresh the insole by cleaning it with The Foam Cleaner.
We recommend storing them in a cool, dry place when not in use, with a shoe tree or paper stuffing to maintain shape. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and direct heat.
The inner sole length is measured from heel to toe. Add a bit of extra space for the feet. For shoes with a pointed toe, keep in mind that your foot will not extend all the way into the pointed end.
