Like all Blankens shoes, The Edie is designed in Stockholm and produced in a small, family-run factory in Portugal. The suede is responsibly sourced European leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group with a Gold rating. The sole is made from real rubber for grip and durability, while the built-up cork footbed provides natural support and cushioning. Every material is chosen for longevity, comfort, and a lower environmental impact — made to be worn often and age beautifully over time.

The open back allows for easy entry, while the padded leather insole adds comfort with every step. The built-up footbed is made from supportive cork, covered with smooth leather, and set on a durable rubber sole that provides grip and stability. The combination of suede upper, cork foundation, and rubber outsole creates a balanced, comfortable loafer designed for both indoor and outdoor use, offering a clean silhouette, soft structure, and effortless versatility.

We recommend using a protective spray, such as the Water Proofer, before first wear and reapply regularly to guard against moisture and stains.
Don't forget the inside. Refresh the insole by cleaning it with The Foam Cleaner.
We recommend storing them in a cool, dry place when not in use, with a shoe tree or paper stuffing to maintain shape. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and direct heat.
The inner sole length is measured from heel to toe. Add a bit of extra space for the feet. For shoes with a pointed toe, keep in mind that your foot will not extend all the way into the pointed end.
