THE KLARA

The Klara is designed for winter days when warmth, protection, and comfort need to work together. Crafted in soft nubuck leather and lined in warm white shearling, it creates a warm and protective environment for the foot while maintaining a clean, grounded silhouette. A waterproof membrane helps keep moisture out, making the boot reliable through shifting winter weather — from damp city streets to cold, dry days outdoors.

A protective rubber toe cap shields the front of the boot from wear while adding durability where it matters most. The sturdy rubber sole provides stability and grip underfoot, giving the boot a practical, confident stance. Around the ankle, an adjustable drawstring allows the opening to be gently tightened, helping keep warmth inside while adding a subtle outdoor character to the design. The Klara works naturally with everyday winter wardrobes — from denim and knitwear to wool trousers or layered outerwear.

Like all Blankens shoes, The Klara is handcrafted in a small, family-run factory in northern Portugal. We work with responsibly sourced European leather from Gold Rated Leather Working Group tanneries, ensuring high material quality and a lower environmental impact. Nubuck leather is chosen for its soft, velvety surface and its ability to develop character over time, while the shearling lining provides natural warmth and insulation. Each pair is made with care and precision — craftsmanship designed to last through many winters.
