Like all Blankens shoes, The Michelle is handcrafted in a small, family-run factory in Portugal using European leather from Gold Rated Leather Working Group tanneries. The suede is carefully selected for its softness and durability, and the boot is built with longevity in mind — fewer but better materials, responsible sourcing, and skilled craftsmanship at every step.

It features a rounded toe, a clean shaft with a subtle buckle detail at the ankle, and a low block heel for stability and all-day comfort. We recommend using a protective spray, such as the Water Proofer, before first wear and reapply regularly to guard against moisture and stains.
Don't forget the inside. Refresh the insole by cleaning it with The Foam Cleaner.
We recommend storing them in a cool, dry place when not in use, with a shoe tree or paper stuffing to maintain shape. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and direct heat.
The inner sole length is measured from heel to toe. Add a bit of extra space for the feet. For shoes with a pointed toe, keep in mind that your foot will not extend all the way into the pointed end.
