DESCRIPTION

The Parisa gives the ankle boot a modern edge. Smooth black leather and stitched apron detailing take inspiration from a loafer, while a Cuban heel adds height. Elastic side panels make the fit comfortable around the ankle and easy to slip on. Wear it with tailored trousers for work, cropped denim on weekends or a flowing dress for dinner. Distinctive but easy to wear, The Parisa brings a polished finish to everyday outfits.

Like all Blankens shoes, The Parisa is handcrafted in a small, family-run factory in northern Portugal. We work with high-quality, responsibly sourced European leather from Gold Rated Leather Working Group (LWG) tanneries, ensuring strict environmental standards and a production with lower chemical and water impact. The smooth black leather upper is carefully selected for its beautiful natural grain and longevity, while the striking tonal stitching is meticulously finished by hand. This is thoughtful craftsmanship designed to last, to be worn often, and to age beautifully over time.

At Blankens, we are a small team of women designing shoes for our own lives. We test, wear, and refine every style ourselves to ensure it works in everyday situations. Each shoe must have a clear function and feel natural in the wardrobe. The goal is simple: shoes that earn their place through comfort, usefulness, and design that adds something to an outfit. We make the shoes that make the outfit — and they are comfortable too.

The Parisa is a women’s leather ankle boot featuring a hybrid design inspired by a traditional dress loafer. Crafted from premium black LWG-certified leather, it is distinguished by a squared-off pointed toe, raised hand-stitched apron detailing across the vamp, and a structured Cuban block heel. Thick elastic goring inserts on the lateral sides offer a flexible slip-on entry while maintaining a streamlined ankle profile. Finished with an all-around stacked leather welt and a durable rubber outsole for grip, The Parisa combines an elegant, high-fashion aesthetic with reliable all-day comfort.

KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Loafer-inspired apron stitching gives this ankle boot a polished edge.

Smooth shape works with workwear and everyday outfits.

Durable rubber sole for regular wear.

COMFORT AND FIT

Fits true to size. If you are between sizes, size up; add an insole if needed to fine-tune the fit. Side elastic stretches to accommodate the foot while keeping the ankle secure. The block heel provides a stable, supportive feel.

MATERIAL

We use only European leather from tanneries rated Gold by the Leather Working Group. The upper is smooth black leather with hand-stitched apron detailing. It has a smooth leather lining and a durable rubber sole.

CARE

Treat your shoes to make them last longer! Regular care keeps your shoes beautiful, soft, and strong. By cleaning, conditioning, and protecting the leather, you preserve its suppleness, prevent cracks, and maintain its natural shine. Think of it as skincare — for your most trusted companions. A small ritual that makes a big difference, keeping your Blankens favorites fresh and ready for every season.

We recommend using a protective spray, such as the Water Proofer, before first wear and reapply regularly to guard against moisture and stains.

Don't forget the inside. Refresh the insole by cleaning it with The Foam Cleaner.

We recommend storing them in a cool, dry place when not in use, with a shoe tree or paper stuffing to maintain shape. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and direct heat.

MEASUREMENTS

The inner sole length is measured from heel to toe. Add a bit of extra space for the feet. For shoes with a pointed toe, keep in mind that your foot will not extend all the way into the pointed end.

The Parisa

How to use these measurements
Insole length is measured from heel to toe. Leave a little room at the front: boots may feel more comfortable with a little extra space, while loafers usually fit best with less. Pointed styles extend beyond where the toes sit, so the pointed tip does not provide extra room for the toes. If you are between sizes, a thin insole can help create a half-size. For closed heels, a half insole can fine-tune the fit.

Heel height: 4 cm

Inner sole:
36 = 25,4 cm
37 = 26,1 cm
38 = 26,8 cm
39 = 27,4 cm
40 = 28,1 cm
41 = 28,8 cm
42 = 29,4 cm

STYLING IDEAS

Pair them with wide-leg tailored trousers, a tucked-in silk blouse, and an oversized blazer for a sharp, sophisticated office look that easily transitions to dinner.

Style The Parisa with cropped straight-leg blue denim, a crisp white tee, and a structured trench coat to let the sleek loafer silhouette and squared toe take center stage.

Wear them with a pleated midi skirt or a fluid knitted dress to ground the look with a touch of directional, menswear-inspired edge.
